Toad Anatomy Wetspecimen

Under the expert guidance of Teori Shannon, this Workshop focuses on the process of Wet Specimen preservation.

Participants will learn, dissecting, in depth toad anatomy while being guided through the process of preparing their specimen for wet preservation, technique to colour the various important structures of a specimen displaying the toad and its anatomy in a scientific display to take home in a glass jar.

Participants are encouraged to bring along a pencil/pen and a notepad.

All materials are supplied and ethically sourced where possible.

Chemicals used: ethanol, Formalin, Enamel paint
